PRENATAL and POSTPARTUM CARE
Prenatal sessions integrate precise and effective therapeutic techniques aimed to relieve the specific discomforts and concerns of pregnancy. Postpartum sessions are often home-visits, where Jennifer comes to you within the first 2 weeks after your birth.

Women who are pregnant can be comforted by her nurturing touch, and in-depth knowledge of how pregnancy affects your body. Prenatal sessions with Jennifer are both relaxing and therapeutic. Testimonials:
“I began to see to Jennifer 7 months into my pregnancy. I came in complaining about my back pain, particularly the acute pain between my shoulder blades. I also had a very tight lower back. After my first session, I felt Jennifer truly listened to me. I had seen other therapists and was completely disappointed. They claimed to know prenatal massage, but it seemed to me their interpretation was simply a massage while lying on my side. Jennifer's techniques felt tailored to my needs. They targeted the aches and tightness from the childbearing weight. I truly felt understood. I highly recommend Jennifer for pre-natal massages. I especially love the rolling sensation of the Hendrickson method - a gentle yet firm feeling along every point of my spine and neck. Jennifer's techniques left me feeling balanced and relaxed after every session.”

“Jenn worked with me while I was in my 3rd trimester and I wished I'd found her even earlier! She understood all the aches and pains associated with pregnancy and really helped with the pain I was having in my lower back due to the growing belly. Also, my hands and feet retained water and would swell up so much it was uncomfortable and Jenn could reduce the swelling by half just by working on my hands and feet for ten minutes! I went once a week for about 5 weeks up until I gave birth to my daughter and then five days after the birth I was feeling very achy and had another session with Jenn. In this session she massaged my painful tailbone area and helped move my organs back to their original place in my body. She gave me some exercises to do on my own to help my body heal and I cannot imagine going through it all without her healing touch and soothingly positive attitude. I highly recommend Jenn's work to anyone who is looking for a true healing massage that addresses any aches, pains or specific problems in pregnancy or not.”
